Jaevon Vassell, born 1999 in Jamaica, is an artist by blood who majors in painting and is capable of creating art through any medium. “In addition to painting, I have experience and mastery in sculpting, illustration, and graphic design.”

Vassell’s body of work highlights several topics surrounding issues that have plagued Jamaican society for years: issues surrounding notions of black identity, the fight against political and economic corruption.
